Weather stops fine for the Annual Irchester Gala
A large crowd turned out for the Irchester annual Gala. The parade started at Parson’s Hall at 1.30pm making its way along the High St, Wollaston Rd and ending at the Sports field.
The procession was led by two Traction Engines, The Majorettes from Wellingborough, the Irchester Rose and attendants followed by displays from village organisations.
At the Sports field the crowd was entertained by a fancy dress competition a Steel Band, Country dancing by children from the Infants School, a Dog Display Team from Northampton and the Majorettes from Wellingborough.
